Most students are living away from home for the first time.
It can be daunting. And it’s a learning experience.
How do you look after yourself in freshers’? How do you look out for your new mates? How do you spot scammers eying up your maintenance loan? And, er, what colour is the recycling bin?
Big or small, all their new challenges matter. To help them settle in, I illustrated a pair of relatable characters (U and S from Unite Students). They’re good mates, but U has their head screwed on a little tighter. Through a series of comics, the pair teach students about what to do – through serious and not-so-serious moments of uni life.
